Ian joined Sheppards in 1999 and is now a Consultant Solicitor to the firm.
In 1984 Ian was admitted as a solicitor and after initially practising in Cannock and Shropshire he has worked in Stafford since 1990.
Ian is a fully accredited Duty Solicitor both at the Police Station and the Magistrates Court.
He has extensive experience, skill and knowledge in representing clients suspected or charged with any type of criminal offence.
At the Police Station Ian regularly represents clients following arrest and represents clients before the Magistrates Court almost every day of the week.
Before the Magistrates, Ian conducts the entire range of defence advocacy ranging from bail applications, mitigation following a guilty plea and fully contested trials.
Ian has expertise in all aspects of road traffic and motoring related law.
Representing clients in both private and publicly funded matters, Ian provides continuity and care throughout the entire process of representation.
