Sheppards secure acquittal for man charged with serious knife assault

Stephen Rudge represented a man charged as part of a two person assault on a third male involving the use of a knife. It had been alleged that during the course of an incident the client represented by Sheppards had threatened to use the knife and held it to the neck of the victim.

Following a four day trial at Stafford Crown Court, the Defendant was unanimously acquitted. The other person charged (represented by another firm) was convicted.

Understandably, the client was delighted with the care and attention given to his case by Mr Rudge.
