A Cannock man who pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine of a high purity with the intention to supply appeared before Stafford Crown Court on the 19th December 2014 for sentence. He had earlier pleaded guilty to his involvement in the activity. Cocaine with a potential street value of £20,000 was seized in a major police drugs swoop in Hednesford, the court heard.
He was represented by Mark Nicholls and following the presentation of personal mitigation the court took an exception course and imposed a suspended prison sentence for two years and received a curfew for nine months.
A second man, who was not represented by Sheppards received an immediate three year prison sentence for his role in the offence.
